Myself
This is the website of Matthias Willerich.
I was born and grew up in Germany, studied applied computer science in Berlin, where I started out as a freelancer. I then went on to work in London, UK, where I started at Recollective Ltd., a company that formed from the crash of Deepend. I moved on to work at the Picture Production Company for a short time, only to sign on at Less Rain Ltd.
My work
I’m a web developer and specialize in accessible HTML and CSS on the client side, and PHP/MySQL on the server side. This site
This site uses Wordpress with several plugins. I could’ve built it myself, but I wanted to understand the concept and possibilities of Wordpress. I’m not too keen on running a daily blog, I find it more interesting to use wordpress as a publishing platform, or mini-CMS. Once I’m done with that, I’m sure I’ll relaunch my site with another technology, to get to know a different system or technology.
